Bohol Kinampay is Vera Heritage's flagship variety β the only true Philippine heirloom ube with documented genetic provenance. Ideal volcanic soil conditions, centuries of cultivation knowledge, and our highest direct farmgate premium program make this region the gold standard.
Batangas is one of the Philippines' oldest Kinampay cultivation zones. Rich volcanic soil from Taal influences the flavor profile, producing ube with a distinctive sweetness profile sought after by halaya and jam producers.
High-altitude cultivation in Benguet produces ube with distinctive earthy, slightly nutty flavor notes. Lower moisture content makes it particularly suitable for powder production with excellent shelf stability.
Quezon is our volume production region, providing Grade B ube powder for mid-tier buyers and blended products. All farms are certified under our partner program.
Leyte is an emerging premium region with a new 50M-peso processing plant in Tunga providing local value-adding capacity. Vera Heritage is one of the first partners using this facility for export-grade processing.
Bukidnon's highland climate produces a good-quality ube with strong starch content. This region is in our farmer development program β we're investing in soil improvement and training for the next harvest cycle.
Palawan is currently in our prospecting phase. Soil surveys and test plots are underway. Potential for unique micro-climate varieties.
